Dale Crover is a killer drummer with the Melvins. That's where it all starts to fall apart, though, because Neurosis are fucking boring (I saw them live in '97 and they were just okay, and it's been all downhill since Through Silver In Blood), Om are so boring they cease to be boring and drive me into a rage, and Crover's other non-Melvins project, Altamont, was a nightmare. So there's at least a 50/50 chance that this album will suck. The fun then will be watching all the droolers backpedal. On the other hand, there's a Gates Of Slumber album coming out that is world-crushingly great. Wino is a god. Dale Crover is a killer drummer with the Melvins.
