THEY JUST DON’T MAKE TORTURE VIDEOS LIKE THEY USED TO
Tuesday, August 18th, 2009 at 10:04am by Vince NeilsteinBut thankfully Norwegian black metallers Pantheon I (of whom I’ve written about before) are around to keep things nice and misogynistic. Special thanks to “The Bondage King,” who’s thanked as such in the video’s ending credits, for providing the bondage.
The best thing here is actually the music, though; Pantheon I’s ripping brew of dark, powerful and progressive black metal is something I need a little more of in my life. They’re kinda like Keep of Kalessin without all the razor-straight blonde hair, both literally and metaphorically speaking if that makes any sense.

Hmm, not too shabby. Definitely reminiscent of KoK. Plus their drummer is a session musician for Black Hole Generator, so you can’t go wrong.
Black Hole Generator, thats an original name. Bands with little recognition with session musicians, weird.
Of all the great black metal out there, you pick this band to write about? If you want some real progressive black metal check out Ne Obliviscaris’s demo. Awesome stuff.
holy shit, Ne Obliviscaris are good! thanks for the recommendation!
I’m very glad you enjoy them. Hopefully they’ll put out a full length soon.
Yeah thanks for the heads up on that band! Very cool, I will be checking out their album when they come out with one.
Nice screen name. I wish he would reform In The Woods. I’m not a huge fan of the newer Green Carnation work.
I agree, a In The Woods… reunion would be nice. I picked this nick before I knew of him. I ran into him on the undernet about 10 years ago, he was not amused with my nick but I had it first on there. Oh well. hehe
as Icicles Fall is orgasmic. I seriously cant stop listening to these 3 songs!!
Candlelight’s been pretty iffy with their black metal over the last year so I was relieved that I enjoyed this album so much. Good to see Pantheon I up on MS.
they do not make any thing like they used to.
Not cars, not trams, not tools, nothing.
They are so money hungry now that they calculate the life of the material before they sell it.
This means that if you buy a drill, they know it will break after x amount of hours.
This sucks.
