The riffs are solid, but they overstay their welcome. The vocals...umm...ok wtf? They're certainly unique, but they don't really fit this type of doom metal at all. They also need to vary themselves up a bit more like Batillus (to this day, I shall claim that Batillus is the best band this site has posted about--download their EP for free from their website!). Salome may be better than most of the crap this site posts, but Batillus > Salome. hmmm…finally giving this band a spin, and I have mixed feelings. It the metal genre I listen too the most. Now Im not trying to be argumentative but I personally I don't understand the appeal of the band. Yeah they are heavy, and have a female vocalist but that barely makes them unique in today's metal scene. I would even go so far and say their music is derivative and boring.
