EVERY TIME I DIE GET ANIMATED

Here’s the band’s video for the title track from their new album, Wanderlust.

Am the only one who found The Big Dirty kinda disappointing? Gutter Phenomenon was awesome and I really liked Hot Damn!, but… I dunno. There was just something missing from Dirty – that certain “oomph!” that’s really made this band pop for me in the past. Hopefully Wanderlust will be a return to form.

Wanderlust comes out September 15 on Epitaph.

Was Keith honing his inner Cornell on parts of that song?
Overall the Big dirty was a let down.

  • Kevin C

Hahaha, I’m trying not to be a dick but it’s kinda funny.

Wanderlust is the name of the track, the Album is New Junk Aesthic.

And for the record I think I liked The Big Dirty more then GP. Both very good tho

The clean vocals have definitely improved but I was bored by 1:30.

*scrolls up to see where I stopped it*

      1:32

      HA.

    • 93tilinfinity

i got to 1:40, looked at the length and thought, hmm this song would be better if it was half as long and stopped it there.

I have enjoyed all their stuff so far and this is no exception. I know most don’t care for these guys, I’ve always dug their attitude. Just kinda not giving a real shit about anything and sarcastic as hell along the way. I also understand why a whole slew of people can’t stand them. Just my sort of thing I guess.

    The album is borrrrringggggggggggg

    • Pete

You’ve heard the whole record? Will you be posting a review?

  • Nick

    I’ve always enjoyed his lyrics

I actually thought The Big Dirty kicked ass, and was responsible for getting me into ETID.

  • Matt

I’ll be the 80th to say the album is called New Junk Aesthetic

  • Matt

Also, the Big Dirty fuckin rules man.

  • rayray

I have always wanted to be a fan of this band. they sell a decent amount of records and must have a good sized fan base. I just cant seem to find any reason to like them. This song is the pits.

    • I Hate Ziltoid aka Nacho Cheese Doritos

Go see this band live, and you will like them. Their shows are total energy and the Buckley bro on guitar loves stage diving.

  • MoonSnake

never listened to these dudes before… I quite liked it. I may have to pick up this record when it drops

Do people still seriously call this metalcore anymore? Hope not, ’cause that just sounded like a rambunctious RAWK tune. Which is a great thing in my book. I’ll be buying this.

P.S. That drum tone is TITS.

  • Patrick

    This song is awesome.
I love the vocals and lyrics.
The guitar tone is sick too.

Never have been a fan but I might check this album out.

  • relaxiknowarchie

man that song is off the hook.

love the tone of those orange amps too.

  • SP420

Great, GREAT. This site just goes from shithole to burning shithole everyday. And they can’t even write factually correct information anymore!

  • Andrew

Love ETID to pieces. Hot Damn and Gutter Phenom are personal faves, and I was pretty let down by the Big Dirty initially but honestly, really enjoy the first half now. Really enjoying the song and looking forward to the record, but really not a fan of this video. It just feels really redundant and un-original with all the door opening. Just me? Speaking of redundant, there’s SP420. Factually correct information? Metalsucks kicks ass.

  • Colin

Hmmm, not sure why everyone is hating on the Big Dirty. Great album, my favorite so far. Pigs is Pigs is brutal

I never really like this band until The Big Dirty, looking forward to The New Junk Aesthetic.

Been a fan of my hometown boys since “last night in town”. Even though “the big dirty” was the first record that had to grow on me, it totally did eventually. I think this song is killer and I’m psyched for the rest. I have a feeling that this is the most clean singing you’ll hear on this record.
