this band is about as unique as metal is gonna get without not being metal. its just a mesh of sound, and whether you like it or not its what they wanted to create, much like abstract art.

As for her singing though, I dont see it as a question of good or bad, its kind of like you get it or you dont. For instance, with Kurt Cobain, or Billy Corgan. Alot of people dont like their voices and thats fine its a matter of preference and opinion, but it doesn’t mean they cant sing. I personally do like her voice, it has a unique personality to it.

Ok, smart guy, how you inferred my statement as being a suggestion of no one on earth finding the band pleasing is beyond me. Obviously, the band has a fanbase and my comment wouldn’t have ever been made if Axl didn’t mention being a fan of them in the first place. So, you read far too deeply into my statement and came to your own twisted and moronic conclusions. And, yes, I am entitled to think and be opinionated about who and what I see fit; you’ve got a problem with that? Well, as I said before, you can go fuck yourself. You also fail to see the irony of you being just as opinionated as anyone else by feeling the need to comment on my comment in the first place.

Actually, I didn’t miss the point at all. As I was writing it last night, I immediately realized I was contradicting myself but I didn’t feel like taking 2 more minutes of my time to explicate the details of said contradiction to further prove anything to you. For the record, I enjoy all types of metal and I couldn’t care less if a band is “extreme” or “brutal” or whatever. I’ve never used those stupid fucking abbreviations (hell, I don’t even know what “kvlt” means, so sue me) and I do not judge bands on how heavy or technical or melodic or groove oriented they are; I judge bands solely on whether they sound good TO ME. And, as you so clearly pointed out, I am entitled to do so. Most of the time I abstain from posting shit like “this band sucks, etc”, but my dislike for iwrestledabearonce is strong enough to have warranted posting a mindless judgment call, the likes of which generally annoy me as well. I was forced to sit through one of their god awful live sets before ever hearing their recorded music and it all sounds terrible to me.

Now that this has essentially deteriorated into the nonsense taking place on the blabbermouth boards every single day, I’ll be the one to say it’s over.

anyways if youre implying the band themselves do it as a joke thats just plain ignorant and wrong, compared to most of the “metal” releases out today theyre an amazing band and arent just rehashing the same thing every other band has
