THE WORD FOR THE NEW HATEBREED ALBUM COVER IS “APOCALYPTIC”

Based on your comments, it looks like most of you were unimpressed with the first song the band has released from the album, ““In the Ashes They Shall Reap.” Hopefully you’ll enjoy the rest of the record more.

Hatebreed comes out comes out September 29 on E1.

    It’s about as generic as an apocalyptic cover gets. While there isn’t any one album cover that they’re ripping off (at least, that I can think of), I can’t shae the feeling that I’ve seen this before.

      If you traded out the skulls and birds for a lamborghini and stacks of dollar bills, it could easily be a Master P album cover circa 1999.

    sticking to their stylistic theme. Elements consistent with Perseverance, Live Dominance and For the Lions.

        Exactly the same story with Slayer…..But not nearly as many people complain about that. Dont get me wrong,I am a big fan of Slayer but they are pretty much guilty of the same thing. Yeah,Yeah,Yeah I know, you dont think Hatebreed is worth to have Slayer shit in their hats and their music has never been on the Slayer level, i know alot of you will make that point,but i am just saying….Our metal legend gods,Slayer have recorded the same song a time or 2 in their career.

          I won’t disagree… but I find Slayer a lot more interesting than Hatebreed. There are plenty of bands out there that tend to release pretty much the same thing over and over… AC/DC, Slayer, Pennywise, Municipal Waste all come to mind immediately. But Hatebreed has never, ever managed to make an impression upon me past ‘I Will Be Heard’.

          Slayer doesn’t suck.
          Hatebreed sucks, therefore the fact that they keep generating the same suck makes them….suck.

    Hatebreed is one of my favorite bands out there. But the new single is not what i expected. Seems like jamey is trying to sing. Not Good…… And the new cover for the album. What can I say it seems to me that they took all there albums and but them together. I could of done that. I expect more from u guys. Deciding if I should buy the new album or what. I rather u guys push the album back and make a few changes. Don’t lose your true fans. Comes from the heart. Sorry

      If you will notice, alot of bands seem to be taking what appears to be the cheaper route on cover art lately….unless it’s a member of the band that designs it themselves. I think you are just seeing another after effect of the slow record sales these days, I imagine labels are handing out a lot less money for things like cover art and that sort of thing if i had to guess. with these really low winding down record sales labels are probably cutting every cent they can to still recoup a profit off of these releases and in my own mind it makes sense to me that money for stuff like art work and cd booklets that not many pay attention to anymore is probably some of the first expenses to get cut back, i think that might be part of the explanation for some of these more well known bands having less than stellar looking cover art lately.

    you bunch of ignorant fucks, this is a cool album cover, your problem is that you cant understand anything, like; i can see the devil face at the left side, the wands with the skulls, for your knowledge real satanic people use them alot, and i would say that theare are plenty more subliminal messages through that album cover, you punk motherfuckers.
