If they went on before, the fans would be rather reserved, saving their energy for Slayer. If they went on after, the kids were all tuckered out after being beat mercilessly over the head by Slayer. Poor Dave couldn't win. A couple of other things: Christ Illusion was a great album. Period. It sounded more like Slayer than the 2 previous albums IMO.
