MORE CLIPS OF NEW BTBAM SONGS SURFACE

The following YouTube video, sent in by MS Maniac Tom Frenette, actually contains 3 clips filmed at the Between the Buried and Me show in Raleigh, NC this past Tuesday. The first clip is from “Obfuscation,” the second one is from another new song which they didn’t name, and the last clip is obviously the end of “Selkies.”
First opinions? These songs sound pretty fuckin’ epic. EPIC, I tells you. Let the debate about whether The Great Misdirect will top Colors rage on. We’ll find out on October 27th.

HOLY FUCK. I CAME.
i was there! this show was fucking AMAZING! and yes the new songs completely slayed. after the show dan just hung around for awhile and chatted with some of us who were up front. he said something about how the two songs are consecutive and just flow really well together but they don’t have like a theme or concept that connects them. i believe i also heard him say the last track on the new album is 18 minutes. so yeah, i’m not fucking losing my mind in excitement yet or anything….
Hopefully they will play some new stuff when they play in Edmonton on the 15th. There might not be enough time touring with Killswitch, In Flames, and PTH. New song sound killer, can’t wait for the new album
sounds fucking awesome, can’t wait! I actually think this will top Colors.
The first song bored me. Not much variety in the guitar melody for the first 1:30.

I really liked Colors, but now for some reason I can’t listen to these guys at all. His vocals and lyrics irritate me (his silly lyrics, the serious ones are great).
I took it all off my ipod and dont expect to buy this album either.
Meh.
I’m the one who filmed this, FYI, not that Tom dude. Haha.
Colors is/was hands down one of my favorite albums, so I’m really curious to see if this new album can compare. I’m both excited and disappointed at the same time.
It’ll be fun to see them live again, though.
Second song sounds like the song that was talked about months ago.
I wouldn’t call that audio quality anything better than decent. Sounds good though.
Saw them tonight and they played two new songs. Both of them were top notch. I think the new one may very well top colors and even I was skeptical about that. Great set list overall
