THE WORST GUITAR SOLO EVER

That was also the year I had my first guitar recital (which I realized even then wasn’t cool, but what was I gonna do, tell my parents to take the lessons I’d asked for and blow ‘em out their collective ass?). I probably sounded like I was playing with broken fingers, but everyone applauded when I was done because, well, I was eleven years old and it was my first time playing in front of people and that’s what you do when an eleven year old kid is showing some effort.
But why the fuck anyone would applaud for this is just way, way beyond me.
Actually, I think he’d sound better if someone broke his fingers. Certainly couldn’t hurt.

BTW. he has ruined hats for anyone to wear on stage. The baseball hat has kind of become his logo(which is also the name of a gay/lesbian tv station fyi). Im not happy about that and neither is Mr. Townsend(pre shaved dome)

The part at the beginning where he’s playing chords doesn’t sound bad. it’s the second half of the video where he’s trying to “shred” that he butchers the instrument. Fred Durst is a jackass and shouldn’t even be touching such an amazing instrument if that’s how bad he is.

Years after it happened, you managed to dig up a clip of Fred Durst messing around on a guitar, then put a one-line insult after it. Wow. Go you. It must be so hard to work for this website. I’m actually glad I didn’t win that damned contest. I can’t handle this kind of worksmanship.
Here it is: Limp Bizkit was – is – a good band. A good BAND. What they lacked was a good frontman. They did manage to write some pretty decent metal, all things considered. There are far, far worse things out there.
It has become so fucking stereotypical for metalheads to knock on Limp Bizkit and Metallica because they wrote some crappy songs and are multi-millionaires. Instead of spending so much energy and time on insulting what these bands have done, why not put that energy and time into keeping metal alive?
