EVILE IN A BOX

Wouldn’t it be awesome if that was an actual product? I know that the conceit is a little bad 80s movie, but, seriously, if you could just send someone a box full of evil-pronounced-with-an-Alan-Rickman-accent, wouldn’t you? They’d be all, “Oh, someone sent me a gift, I wonder what it is,” and then they’d open it and SURPRISE! They’re fucked.

I suppose we can settle for this new Evile video, “Infected Nations.”

Evile’s Infected Nations comes out on Earache on September 21 in Europe and September 22 here in the U.S.

Great, now any time I think their name in my head I’ll hear it in Alan Rickman’s voice.

Pretty cool video… at least they didn’t go with the old video cliche of the walls of the box coming down and they find that they’re surrounded by their fans. And the song sounds really good… they don’t sound so much like they’re directly ripping off Slayer any more.

Yeah but I really didn’t mind that they ripped off slayer considering slayers new stuff blows imo..
But I totally love the new sound that Evile is doing. Very fresh..

I loved Enter the Grave but I’m really not digging the new stuff I’ve heard… it’s like the samey-ness of EtG except more mid-tempo and boring

      its a grower ;)

As a new thrash metal band, it’s definitely worth adding to the collection. I like this song a lot.

Nice. Song was pretty killer and the video was simple yet effective. I may just check these blokes out!

    Oh great, another Slayer album.

  • Sammy

No, this time they added Metallica riffs to the Slayer. However, they do it effectively.

evile is just one big thrash metal cliche

  • Iron Tusk

Not bad, but I’m kinda digging Enter the Grave alot more.
    But still a killer song.

Never heard of them before, has an old-school Metallica feel to it. I like it.
