Its pretty much a reality man. Sonisphere is already lined up and as far as ive seen metallica and megadeth have posted on their sites confirming it. But there is still a chance that with ticket sales they might get into a dick measuring contest. They might butt heads the day of sonisphere and cancel it right then and their. But that could happen with any band. Fuck I went to see Children of Bodom on the Lamb of God Wrath album tour and had no prior knowledge that Alexi broke his shoulder a couple days before and would only play 3 fucking songs before throwing his guitar at a roadie. Anything could happen. But the rumor of them actually wanting to play together has been confirmed. So now its time to wait and see. I want them to fucking come to the states. Fuck europe lol. Granted we get good bands from Europe and they tour here but you only get a tour with one big band here in the states. Europe gets the whole fucking thrash four and mastadon and maiden and other bands that will be at sonisphere. BRING THAT SHIT OVER SEAS!!! \\m// do_ob \\m//

cant see bodom touring with Nightwish, Sonota Arctica, or Strad. completely different type of metal. just saying. then again, coheed and cambria toured with trivium and slipknot earlier this year so maybe…lol

lamb of god is fucking boring man i almost fell asleep during that show… the sword though thats what u want…. the big 4 have never been outdone unfortunately.. theres never been another line of bands to take metal in a totally new direction

this would be so fuckin awesome man… it has to be the original big four though i think that these guys are the four most essential metal bands since the 1980s… its gotta have anthrax.. i think they should just shuffle the order every night… the only thing is if Metallica plays first and people start leaving after that then they have a problem.. so maybe shuffle the 3 other bands and have metallica headline.. but seriously if your not there for the entire show… you should have your head examined… for me though they could shuffle it anyway and i think id be up for it

I can see it happening, provided one of the big festival promoters (Kilimanjaro or Live Nation) is behind it – they routinely have to deal with bands who don’t get on, but are on the same bill. Megadeth and Slayer would have to alternate the 2nd/3rd slots, probably depending on what city/country they are playing in. In Europe, Slayer would always warrant a higher place on the bill.
