It’s no secret they’re great players, but what got me into them was the neo-classical elements from Hatebreeder! The first time I heard “Silent Night, Bodom Night” my jaw literally dropped. Bring that stuff back.

And most fans own most of the covers on this album as they’ve been tagging them onto the albums they’re always re-releasing.

And this album is atrocious. Like…downright wretched.

Rebel Yell is the only track I could stand listening to more than once.

If CoB weren’t successful (by metal standards) people here would like them. There is (and always will be) a large contingent of fans that equate success with musical deficiency. Those fans do not have the mental capacity to say, “Good for them, they earned the success.” They have incredibly small minds.

When I called you out on what metal bands YOU consider “trve” or whatever the fuck stupid terms you like to use, you went on a rant which failed to touch on even one “good” band. It’s pretty much moot at this stage, but when I saw your post here talking about two bands who don’t “push the envelope” as much as you’d like to believe, I decided to call you out. Oh, and I’m 27 years old, don’t think I qualify as a “kid” anymore, but thanks for attempt at insult.

Listen, I’m not going to perpetuate this nonsense. It is, after all, pointless to argue with random person over the internet about things that really don’t matter, it’s all opinion anyway and neither of us are going to change how we feel about x band(s). I’m done here.
