I’m surprised no one’s mentioned the Majestic. I’ve seen plenty of shows there and I find it to be my favorite venue. It’s a nice layout and most of the shows I’ve been to sounded really good.

As I said I was 14 and it was 9 years ago… simply telling a story so chill out heh. I’ve been to A TON of shows in Detroit since and also went to school in the city at Wayne State. I’m well aware of how to conduct myself.

Definitely going to that burst show as well. i’d also like to see them crooked vultures but I’ve been listening to Burst for a long time and am not going to miss what is possibly one of their last shows.

Just listened to Periphery. Not for me, personally. However, I do see how they might be good live with all those techy guitar riffs. Unfortunately, I don’t hear a band live on a daily basis. Also, you’re right, they’re gonna be huge sellers at Profit Topic soon.

Burst is coming to Blondies on October 8th. Same night as Them Crooked Vultures. Going to spend more on cabbing it back and forth between venues then anything else that evening.

But yeah, Blondies is getting alot of shows. I have NO IDEA WHY. That place sucks a cancerous nut. Honestly. Its as big a my foot, and it sounds like a elementary school gym. And its in Detroit.

Lets face it: any venue in Detroit is in a terrible area. Watch your backs. Carry as little as possible with you. Put your blade in your sock. THIS IS DETROIT. There are no “sections” of this city. Its either “shady” “mad shady” or “good fucking luck”. Take your pick.

We have a sick metal following. At this point, most of us know what to do. If your in your 20′s and are still getting mugged, maybe you should try listening to Joshua Radin or Taylor Swift. That’s all I got for ya.
