Ok all I can say is WTF?
1. Their lirics is emo shit…..HAVE YOU EVER LISTENED TO THE ACTUAL LYRICS?! they are about war and how soldiers work their ass out for you. Their lyrics is what I like so badly about them
2. You’re deaf yes, because you could never have heard the lyrics

FFDP is awesome and I have no idea what’s wrong with axl, Ivan has a awesome voice for metal, their solo’s are just plain awesome (if you dont believe me listen to canto 34, it’s an instrumental song. And their lyrics are just great

FFDP’s riffs go on for ten minutes and everything that they are saying has no meaning whatsoever. Have you actually listened to their lyrics? It’s all emo bullshit about teenage angst and it’s more gimmicky than Winds of Plague’s video for The Impaler. Black/Death metal has caught on in the U.S. as well, and if you were knowledgeable about metal, which you obviously are not, you would know of American bands such as Death, Necrophagia, and Obituary, who helped pioneer the genre of death metal itself. Black metal was started by groups such as Venom and Mercyful Fate and has spread into America as well; Venom was from England, Mercyful Fate was Danish. Look how long both of those genres have lasted, and compare them to how long FFDP has been around. They’re another cookie cutter nu metal band just like Godsmack, Slipknot, et cetera, et cetera.

Why would you judge a band’s talent based on their following? By declaring that, the Kevin Jonas might as well be the next Steve Vai or Joe Satriani because of his popularity. Do you know how fucking stupid you sound? Honestly, you need to reassess your musical taste and get off your soapbox; save your condescending bullshit for your skinny jean scene friends down the block.

FFDP do suck, as do Static-X and A7X. This is subjective, but he and I both are far more astute listeners than you. We spend our lives exploring music, not just listening to the shit shovelled into our ears by commercial radio. If you don’t know how radio works, look it up. Nickelback and Limp Bizkit didn’t get where they are through sheer talent, friend.
Supergroups notoriously suck. The past pedigree of the members in no way lends itself to the new project. I’d say look at Hellyeah, but you probably consider them too “high-class” for me.
Calling someone gay reveals your mental age. It’s not a proper argument.
Calling on music critics to “make something better” isn’t necessary. We have great bands doing that for us. We just wish they’d get recognition. People like you who defend terrible fucking music are the problem.

Fuck you. 5fdp has worked long and hard to make that amazing album, and they really don’t need dumbfucks like you to bag on them. I’d like to see you make something better, and besides, if they sold more than the bands of impudent comparence to 5fdp, then it’s obvious that either they’re more popular than those bands, or you ghve one piece-of-shit taste in music.
They have people from other amazing bands like Motograter, W.A.S.P., and Ghost Machine, so combining them makes one pretty goddamn epic band.
Why do you even care if they have gotten more sales than your favorite bands? You should be happy that at least if your not succeeding in life, that some one else is. And another point, calling them “shitstains”? All of them could beat you to a fucking pulp.

To say FFDP are the best band of the decade is overrating them immensely. I agree their alright under the category of “Hard Rock/ (insert genre) metal” Some of the “screamo crap” you say this site likes is not complete shit at all, have a looksee and you might love it, if not, stick to FFDP. And the reason FFDP is successful, as their singer says, “because their fans relate to the music”? The guy’s sticking with the “I’m not understood” logic of most Nu-Metal bands. I’m not hating on FFDP, I’m just saying that they’re not even close to being best of the decade.

In your mind, you’re saying “oh, I’m so tough and badass because I listen to this hard ass screamo music with rifts that go on for 10 minutes and you can’t even hear a damn word they’re saying”. Sorry, you’re a tool. Why don’t you trace the roots of metal, and understand that black/death metal is a trend that has never caught on except maybe in some parts of Europe.

At the end of the day, the metal music you listen to will be absolutely FORGOTTEN, because time will decide that it’s shit. Meanwhile, 5FDP has an insane following, 10+ good tracks, and sells out all of their shows. Yeah… maybe your type of metal should try and be more melodic so their members don’t become panhandlers or move into your mom’s basement with you.

This site just likes screamo crap. Uttering lame lyrics that you can’t even hear and thrashing as fast as you can. For the most part, all of those bands suck ass. What’s wrong with a balance of metal and melody. Slipknot and Metallica sure haven’t had a problem doing it.

There’s a reason FIVE FINGER DEATH PUNCH is extremely successful, and you’re all just too stupid to acknowledge it. 5FDP is the best band of the decade.

This article is hmmm…. transparent. Something must have happened between the writer and 5FDP.

Especially the ” total assholes who completely lack any musical talent” line has a wrathful ring to it. If they were what you say they are, they wouldn’t have so many fans, and they wouldn’t sell so many CDs. Even if I didn’t like this band, I would question an article like this. Basically you are implying that hundreds of thousands if not millions of people who happen to like them are all tonedef morons. You know, I really doubt that.
