HE IS LEGEND, LEGENDARY NO MORE?

he is legendAccording to Lambgoat (who MS tipster Kye says “are about as reliable as my dog when it comes to news”), trouble is a brewin’ in the He Is Legend camp. Says Lambgoat:

Word on the street is that Wilmington, North Carolina group He Is Legend has disbanded. This could very well be the reason that singer Schuylar Croom was available to fill in for Dallas Taylor on the current Maylene and the Sons of Disaster tour. In any case, this news is unconfirmed, so don’t call your mom just yet.

He Is Legend supported their latest album It Hates You (which our own Anso DF awarded a four-out-of-five horns rating) with just one tour, and there’s nothing currently listed for the future on their MySpace page. At this point any reports of the band’s break up are purely rumors, but there is certainly cause for speculation. We encourage any MetalSucks readers with insider knowledge on the situation to email us at news [at] metalsucks [dot] net.

    I don’t know LG is actually pretty good on band news. They even hit up bands and ask what they’re doing. I mean, can’t be that unreliable. Plus He is Legend was pretty whack.

    Actually, your tipster Kye is fucking stupid. I’d like him to produce some evidence about our lack of reliability. For all of the news we post, it’s very rare that something is wrong. That said, I’m not 100% sure about the He Is Legend news, but i’m pretty sure that we’re one of the most reliable sites out there.

      In all fairness, I’ve never been to lambgoat enough to even have had a memory of what it looked like until last night. But that’s mainly because I’ve never heard a good thing about your site.

      So I may be “fucking stupid” (really?), but that doesn’t change the fact that even the comments on this damn story call you unreliable.

      And your way of handling a reader’s opinion just further supports my argument that there is nothing of value to be had at your site. I’ll produce evidence when you aren’t a prick that gets upsets about simple hyperbole. :)

    Always loved this band. It Hates You was a very unexpectedly awsome album. But breaking up is nothing new for this band. They did it right before Suck Out the Poison.
