Hmmm…this is quite an interesting band. On one hand, the vocals are just boring. I’m reminded of the guy from Epica in terms of intensity, and that’s a REALLY bad thing. But, they sound like they could easily turn into Gorguts-styled vocals, and that’s a REALLY good thing. The production is obviously a bit on the low side, but that’s expected for a debut EP–I won’t hold that against them at all. The musicianship itself is actually quite interesting. It seems like a direct blend of Gorguts and Cynic as described, just without the intensity of either. I do, however, see a LOT of potential for this band. Proper production and a bit more intensity (and maybe a bit more variety) could really put this band easily at the top of the underground metal scene, but for now, the five songs show great potential and stand great as they are.

And I like that *weedily weedily* is catching on, haha. I’m even happier that none of that is here.

This gets Ziltoid’s approval.
