I can now attest that his whiskers are surprisingly soft. *sigh* Oh, AND his dreads are as long as I am tall. Crazy. He was doing windmills in The Black Sheep with that low-hanging ceiling and his dreads kept getting caught in the rafters. He finally just said screw it, climbed the rafters like monkey bars and hung over the audience like on a jungle gym. Their show made me want to swing from the rafters, too, dammit. The thought was there to get up there with him, but I figured I wouldn't get to finish the show because security would have thrown me out and spoiled my fun. For once I'm glad that my bud is far more forgiving than myself and wanted to give 5FDP a shot; otherwise, I would have left right after SF and not stayed and met Brian and, I believe, Jonathan. I waited to get their new album until the show, so I could get it from their merch and support them better. I've been switching off between it and the new AiC ever since. Oh, yeah, and awesome contest.
