Time for another Readers’ Choice! HOO-RAY!

So. Reader Tim-o-tato e-mailed us about this band Yyrkoon. No, I have no clue how you pronounce that, either.

ANYWAY, here’s what Tim-o-tato has to say about them:

They have the same type of music basically as Gojira, same vocal ‘style’, BUT they have guitar solos! haha And the biggest kicker, is
that they’re from FRANCE!!! haha They’re CD entitled “Occult Medicine” is a solid A- record. Really good stuff I think.

I listened to one song and wasn’t really into it. There are some superficial similarities to Gojira I guess, but Yyrkoon strike me as being considerably more generic. But don’t take my word for it. You can listen for yourself and let us know what you think by going here.
