SYLOSIS ARE QUIETLY WORKING ON A NEW ALBUM

It would seem that UK neo-thrashers Sylosis — whose 2008 debut Conclusion of an Age was a ripping example of what modern thrash (NOT re-thrash) should be — are quietly working on a new album. MS Maniac Evan Hurd sent in a link to the band’s Facebook page (screen cap above), where the band posted an update saying they’re just about finished writing their new album and plan to begin recording it in a few weeks.
This should come as good news to all — there’s little not to like about Sylosis. By all accounts they killed at this year’s New England Metal and Hardcore Fest, and guitarist Josh Middleton seemed like a well-rounded kid with all the right influences when I interviewed him back in February. A new Sylosis album on the horizon definitely has me excited.

Sylosis is fucking awesome, I’m dissapointed that they don’t get more recognition. My only problem was the Good cop/Bad cop vocals, guy has one hell of a scream on him.
Can’t friggin wait,this band is made outta pure awesome
Sylosis = cool beans.
Fuck yes!
I’m paying to go see Dragonforce just so I can see Sylosis support them.
Hell yeah. I got into Sylosis on the recommendation from this site. Can’t wait.
I have a feeling that their second album will be very different than COAA because of the new influences, like Devin Townsend, Mastodon,Tool.
They shot a new vid months ago btw. It should be coming out soon. :)
Sylosis already have two albums out if I’m not mistaken being The Supreme Oppressor and Conclusion Of An Age.
Nah. Supreme Oppressor was a EP.
But yeah, I’m so proud. I feel like I’ve contributed to something. And also, after I sent MS an email about this, I discovered they’re waiting to get a tour here in the US.
