MOVE OVER, GOJIRA: LAST POEM IS NOW FRANCE’S BEST METAL BAND

I really, really, sincerely, with all my heart and all my soul, wish that there was a version of this video with running audio commentary by the director.

My sincerest thanks to djabthrash. You changed my life… forever.

I’m having a hard time finding anything else about this band on the internet. If anyone has any leads, please let me know. I must know more. I MUST.

    At first when I heard the drums (which is probably what it would sound like if I played drums, seeing as I have absolutely zero sense of rhythm) I thought it was a joke. Then, I heard the vocals, and knew that not only was this not a joke, it was THE MOST BRUTAL THING EVER.

    Now, if I only knew what the storyline of this video was supposed to be… because I have no idea.

      I’d say: shitty sync’ing – plowing(?) – shittier snyc’ing – writing songs whilst acting like the camera is not there (failed) – shittiest sync’ing – almost being recruted by the least military-esque woman I’ve ever seen – end shitty song.

      I suppose it’s suposed to portray the average life of an average human being: working hard (right) –> having dreams and ambitions –> dreams being broken by authorities.

    I’m glad you put such a headline to lure people into checking that video :)

    If i find more videos that compete with that one in terms of TERRIBLENESS i’ll send it for sure.

    By the way the guy who sent me that video is Fred, the singer from the French band EYELESS. You should check them out they’re really great and underestimated IMO (no joke here :) ).
    New album has been mixed by Jason Suecof, and has Mark Hunter (Chimaira) and Doc Coyle (God Forbid) doing some guest stuff on it. The album is expected to be released early 2010.
