My band plays post punk, pre-sumerian, prog-techcore, death over easy, crabcake slam, wiggeresque post music. Its basically that really cool space in the middle of the breakdowns where there’s no music. Yeah it’s super sick. We totally murder it!!!

I hate fun? Bro, I fucking party down al the damn time. What i really hate is no-talent breaks in music that are only there to appease kids and sell records.

I’m a musican. I listen to classical just as much as I listen to metal. It bothers me when I hear senseless, pointless, staccato notes played over and over.

Sergeant D, you have some cool shit, but you also have some gay shit. Loved the slam compilation.

But honestly, ABACABB? I could write a deathcore record pretty easily. Seriously, if you’re going to do a breakdown, at LEAST put it in something over 4/4 and don’t bash the same fucking cymbal (sorry, don’t know the name, i really don’t give a shit about drums) that EVERY FUCKING BREAKDOWN uses.

And, why the hell WOULDNT I want a frequent shopper card? That shit is amazing. If fun is listening to unrefined, boring music, and making bad deals about shopping, then consider me the antithesis to fun.

Winds of Plague is a fucking joke. I saw them at summer slaughter with suffocation. I think every black person, metal or not, should be inclined to beat bitches like those goes down to the curb. Does meshuggah really have deathcore elements? They seem more just like rhythmically complex chug-death. And, all of these suppposedly sumeriancore bands don’t really fit the bill of “progressive deathcore” the only one that does is conducting from the grave, and they don’t really breakdown so much as put slow chug bits under cool high bits, like Unearth’s last CD.

I dunno, maybe i’m missing something, but most of this seems just as gay as normal deathcore.
