BY ANY MEANS NECESSARY TO SUPPORT DIVINE HERESY AND GIGAN
Wednesday, October 14th, 2009 at 3:10pm by Axl RosenbergWhy oh why are By Any Means Necessary still unsigned? Their three-song demo/EP or whatever rocked. I know they’re young, but so are half the bands out there right now. And most of them aren’t as good as BAMN (there’s an awesome abbreviation if ever there was one).
Hopefully this news will lead to good things, though: the band will be playing support for Divine Heresy and Gigan (featuring former members of Hate Eternal) on six tour dates next month. I’ve still never seen this band live, but if their shows are as good as their songs, I’d wager it’ll be a lot of fun – way more fun that, say, Divine Heresy.
By Any Means Necessary recently completed tracking for their new EP and are currently mixing those songs. Hopefully we’ll more updates on that soon; in the meantime, get tour dates after the jump, and please check these guys out if you can.
November 07th El Paso, TX – Chic’s
November 08th Amarillo, TX – War Legion Underground
November 09th Gallup, NM – The Juggernaut
November 10th Flagstaff, AZ – The Joint
November 13th Sparks, NV – New Oasis
November 15th San Diego, CA – Brick By Brick

Awesome young band.
better THAN, say, Divine Heresy.
yeah you’d have to go see Divine Heresy to see this. So does anyone really care?
Checked out By Any Means Necessary, looked at the singer and was like looking in a mirror that removed my scrawny beard. Music sucked though.
These kids/guys aren’t that young, maybe the nuts still haven’t dropped on the singer but they’re all over the age of 21 been around for a while now..music is pretty decent and the live show is ehhhhh just ok alot alot of dead silence between the songs and stage presence isnt there. with a different charismatic frontman with good vocals and this band will take off….maybe
I disagree. The vocals are a little Chimaira-esque at times but I always have fun at a BAMN show. Glad to see one of the only good bands in Austin get a little recognition.
yeah well in Austin what is there to choose from really?
metal is a dead god in that town.
Dallas metal scene >
San Antonio metal scene >
Houston metal scene >
Gigan is the only good band on this tour.
Cool the world needs new BAMN songs.
