You CAN convert your existing DVD player to Region 0. The technology is out there, even for comptards like ME.

When I bought my DVD/VCR combo player at a BX in Korea (sorry, not saying exactly where), I asked the dudes there about Region 0, and one of them hooked me up. He just had a disc with Region 0 software for his own personal use and loaded it for me, right there on the sales floor.

Feds: Don’t bother shaking me down, because I couldn’t pick the guy out of a line-up – even if I were inclined to cooperate. And at any rate, I’ve sent that dude many a good vibe since that day; every time I turn on my set-up, in fact.
