That being said, I've heard a lot of rumours at the extent to which Metallica DVDs are overdubbed and autotuned and what-have-you, so it's hard to tell how much is actually Metallica live and how much is studio magic after the fact. Filmed in France... so it'll appeal to their cheese eating fans and it saves them from trying to stock it in stores and market it all over... and collectors worldwide can order it off their website.. putting more money in the artists pocket.. It's hard to remove the band (metallica) from this concept... do we really believe they "get" this new paradigm in how to market a band in the 21st century, or did they finally get some good marketing guys in their camp.. who knows..
