PULLING DVDs AT RANDOM WITH MESHUGGAH
Monday, October 19th, 2009 at 10:00am by Vince NeilsteinMetalUnderground.com is reporting that Meshuggah will release a live DVD in early 2010. This is great news for us U.S. Meshuggah fans who get to see the band live, like, never. Except when we got to see them at BonerFest 2009, aka with Cynic and The Faceless — that ruled.
No details have been released yet about when and where the footage for this new DVD was filmed. In the meantime here they are performing “Straws Pulled at Random”; this clip was included on the DVD portion of the re-release of Nothing.

They need to come back to the US, missing that Meshuggah/Cynic/Faceless show was probably one of the bigger mistakes in my music going life.
Saw that tour! It was amawesome!
The editor of that video needs to be less spastic.
Saw meshuggah in 2003 I think, did not get it at that time. Will be buying this
I’m definitely buying this.
I am so glad I went to that tour. They are in the top 3 bands I have seen perform live. Literally flawless.
I don’t know if it’s because i’ve been working too hard these last couple of months, or been drinking to heavily on the weekends… but I have actually been told by one of the bandmembers “when and where” they filmed the dvd.. but this was in february, and I seriously can’t remember.. I’ll try and sleep on it and get back to you guys
damn. I’ve got to see these guys live…
some of this footage is from their performance at the Fillimore NYC in february. I was at that show, i saw them tape the audience during ‘Bleed.’
i may be in a few shots tripping balls in the pit island.
ok, they need to start making separate DVDs for drummers, with one camera shot the whole show, from behind and a bit above the drummer. I just want to watch tomas haake do his shit….wow. oh, ya, and they gotz to come to da US.
I’m hoping they take the footage from their montreal show, since they had a bunch of notices saying that we were being filmed for a DVD, and that we cant sue them, all that useless shit.
the dvd was filmed in three shows, and i know it was filmed at the Fillmore in NYC. i should be in a part where Dick goes into the crowd with the wireless bass… cant wait to see it.
