It wold be genuinely funny if they picked me up, but whatever. It’s not like I’m applying for a job or something. If they want me, they can ask, but I’m not begging for a job. I’d certainly get people talking shit on here, whether they’d criticize the writing or the writer (i.e., me).

And I’d definitely pitch the blog that may or may not ever exist on here. Free source of web traffic = awesome.

As for a degree, I’m thinking about something econ/business, or psychology. How about you?

Fuck yeah! Bjork has an amazing voice, and the music complements it well. I just picked up Medulla the other day, and while a weak effort compared to Post and Homogenic, it certainly makes an extreme attempt at being unique in a very artistic way (it’s a completely vocally oriented album–vocals as instruments!). If the whole album was like the song “Where is the Line,” it would be my favorite, but it drops off a bit afterward. Still, a very interesting experiment to say the least. For a pop vocalist, she certainly mixes things up a lot. And her voice is beautiful.

I’ve been a fan since A Perfect Forever, but Jacob Hansen’s voice and much better production job on the past two albums have just completely made the band a new favorite of mine. The Detached is easily their best release, and it’s a great style of prog/power that is fairly uncommon despite it’s rather simplistic approach and accessible content. “Out of Time” is currently one of my favorite metal ballads, especially the vocal harmony at the end.

And I’d be waiting, ready to evade the pokeballs like those pesky legendary bird did unless you froze them or put them to sleep…

As for starting my own blog, I’ve thought about it. The idea is appealing, but I simply don’t have the time for it. Despite my love for metal, education is a top priority of mine, and I prefer to devote my spare time to that (and the rare socializing I mentioned earlier). I’d prefer to write an article once in a blue for MS and get a decent amount of readers than start my own obscure blog and only be able to update it rarely. In this era, the websites with the largest followings are the ones that update as often as possible. I couldn’t keep up at this time. But I shall still keep this idea in mind…and the MS readers will know as soon as I make it…
