saying that krimh is dismissed is jumping to conclusions. nothing in that post gives the impression that he’s out, his name just wasnt mentioned. as for the “cash grab” thing, i think that’s bullshit. did metallica stop when Burton died? they should have, but it was their right to go on, just as it’s Voggs right to continue on under the Decapitated name. not to mention, he would be better off finding another line of work if he wants cash.

Fuck yes. I’ve had the good fortune to see Decapitated twice live, and they absolutely killed it both times.

Vogg has always been the creative force behind the band, and our preconceived notions of what the band was/is/will be are irrelevant. Let’s just be glad that a group of talented musicians are getting together to create some hopefully awesome music. If you judge him by his past catalog, more metal from him can’t possibly be a bad thing.

in my opinion this will kill decapitated. it was bad enough loosing the original singer for a dick. Admittedly its some of the most musically proficient songs written by the band on organic hallucinosis but shit man that dude cant fucking live up to sauron. he kept the band brutal. This is great news. The new Vader record is great and all, but Vogg has so much more to offer than just doubling Peter’s riffs. It’s very sad about Vitek and Covan, but I’m sure Vogg still has some great music left in him that deserved to be heard.

I think this will be good for the bands legacy. It’s a tragedy what happened with Vitek gone and Covan still healing almost a full 2 years later, but Vogg wouldn’t continue if he wasn’t doing it for the right reasons. Decapitated has never been a band that could be about money, it was musical outlet for two brothers that were amazing at what they do/did. I’m going to support it no matter what.
