I don’t understand why you people like so much sludge metal… it sounds all the same to me… I understand that it suits particularly well with drugs but c’mon…
Just to say, the only sludge metal band I like is Ghost Brigade (warning: they’re not instrumental and they’re just influenced by sludge) but they never got a mention on the site.
reccomend me something non-sludge influenced (not sarcastic). been wanting to go full-metalhead and expand my horizons
I don’t know if you’re being sarcastic (I don’t give a shit actually) but I reccomend Rapture from Finland. They suit pretty well with drugs too.

picked this album up at their show in Minneapolis, not a bad album at all. if your favorite is city of echoes, you’ll love this one! my favorite is australasia but this is awesome too.
Damn, almost went to that show but I had to pass it up since it started so late (10pm start wtf?). If it was a band I was more into then I would have gone for it, but I wasn’t about to suffer through a day of work with no sleep for a band that I knew almost nothing about.

Ahhhh that’s the Pelican I know and love. The only good thing about City of Echoes was that “Pillz Between The Walls” mashup with Gucci Mane.
