sadly, I see this is really happening, and I live in the city that bivins lives in, and it sucks. Deathcore is becomeing a scene which is why I go to deathcore concerts seldomly anymore, cause it’s just a bunch of posers who go there nowadays and think there tough shit,

Sidenote- Luke from Bivins band, WLB, can only downstrum and Matt is only known for his one or two sweeps he supposedly can play, other than that, there both shitty

Really? I love how so many people talk shit about this Bivins dude, when maybe three of them can do vocals at all. I’ve watched some of his other videos and he has a good voice for the genre. I don’t consider deathcore ’scene’. I consider the stupid little emo kids in the pits who are doing karate ’scene’. There are actually some very good deathcore bands like All Shall Perish, Whitechapel, and Oceano.

no,deathcore BANDS THEMSELVES aren’t usually scene kids(except bmth). The problem is, if too many br00tal/scene kids start liking music, metalheads like me start hating it. Since traditional death metal and power metal ESPECIALLY focus on aggression and masculinity, we get stressed and angry when androgynous emos are in the pit next to us. That, and deathcore riffs are usually simpler, with the exception of tech. deathcore.

That, and they mosh wrong. You’re SUPPOSED to punch, shove, and run face-forward into people(TR00 METAL, PUNK AND HARDCORE PUNK). Not wave your arms and pretend to punch the ground(EMO,DEATHCORE, FALSE HXC).

in addition, most deathcore band names and song content is irrelevant to morbid stuff; bmth,jfac,etc;not violent enough. most death metal, while less disoriented sounding than deathcore, is a bandname mentioning corpses, albums about corpses, and so on; TRULY BRUTAL AND PSYCHOTICALLY SADISTIC.

Annotations of an Autopsy are from the UK, and while they don’t have a fuckload of merit to their name, they probably represent the heavier end of the deathcore spectrum.

This guy is an absolute product of the modern music industry. The reason deathcore is stagnating is that dullards like senor cockstain have no interest in the genres roots, they just seek out more and more identikit bands to grab cool points. Not that there is anything wrong with checking out as much new shit as possible, but ignore bands who have influenced your favorite artists, like Napalm Death, Carcass, Cannibal Corpse or even hardcore bands like Black Flag or Minor Threat.

In conclusion, this guy is a bell-end.

You make yourself look like an idiot. Case in point, the “Don’t Call me A Scene Kid” Scene Kid says fuck the UK when the UK basically started Metal and GRINDCORE, which is one of the reasons anything CORE has a flimsy association with metal.
