Now that’s an interesting theory, that Christianity worships death, but really, don’t all religions then? Even satanism would, because every religion has an afterlife or reincarnation, but it all deals with death. But what doesn’t deal with death anymore?

The fact I’m Christian doesn’t mean I can’t celebrate life, that’s like saying someone who likes chocolate can’t like vanilla. Well, though that may be true for some people, other people can and do like both.

If caring that a person’s gone missing and being Christian makes me “sick in the head” then I really don’t know why I bother with the metal community. Besides– a 2000 year old jew is a lot younger than a 7 million year old monkey.

This thread is proof positive why the vast majority of the heavy metal community are pea-brained losers. I’d love to see how chicks dress at the generic cliche metal shows some of you tards go to. I’m sure they are really dressed for success at a Slayer show now aren’t they? By the way, any guy who wears black metal shirts of their favorite troo metal bands, wallet chains, facial peircings, and grows ridiculous looking goatees 10 inches long…..you’re pretty much in the same category of ridiculous dress that the chick you’re making fun of. At least she’s a chick…………what’s your excuse?

I’m both Catholic and a metal fan and I fail to see any correlation whatsoever between the two. Fans being paranoid of religion is no different than their parents being paranoid of metal as satanic and evil. Maybe I just don’t take metal as seriously as the rest of you. Maybe I don’t want to. The whole genre is a joke and by saying Christianity is its opposite, you’ve become the butt of the joke. Tom Araya as an example. Getting music and religion intertwined is absurd, same with politics and music. Maybe that’s why I hate Christian music and Green Day too.
