MAYLENE AND THE SONS OF DISASTER TALK RASSLIN’

Thursday, October 22nd, 2009 at 1:30pm by Axl Rosenberg

Did anyone see South Park last night? I watched it in a drunken stupor but I think I enjoyed it. It was about rasslin’.

Speaking of which: while my childhood dog was named after Lex Luger, I haven’t watched wrestling since roughly 1992. But apparently Maylene and The Sons of Disaster have recorded a new song for the Jeri-Show Tag Team, whomever the fuck that is. Maybe these dudes know.

ANYWAY, the aforementioned Maylene have been interviewed by the WWE, which I think will excite some of you – if nothing else, they’re a pretty cool band. The video interview isn’t embeddable, but you can watch it by clicking on the photo below.

No I did not…you know why? Cause I was watching the motherfucking Phils beat that ass!!! Total thread jack but I do not care – bring on the homosexual Yankees.

There would be nothing sweeter that steamrolling the Yankees in the WS. Phils FTW!

But I still saw the south park replay at like midnight, not a great ep, but a decent one, even though i havent cared about rasslin since i was about 13

Jerishow – The tag team of Chris Jericho and the Big Show

Haven’t watched since 1992? Everyone knows the best era of wrestling was from 1997-2001. You missed out. big time. I mean you still watched wrestling when everything was all fantasy and heroic and about hulkamania.

Disaffected Anti-Heroes (Austin) for the win.

I haven’t watched WWE since 2003 but that sounds like a combination of Jericho and The Big Show to me. Which sounds like rather an odd idea…
