PS Hatebreed, Terror and Death Threat are the most brutally honest, transparent, and authentic bands around. You don’t have to like the way they sound, but hating is lame. I know some people think it’s corny to express your real feelings, especially in plain language like these bands do. I dunno man, if you can listen to a grown ass man get up on stage and basically say “I feel like a piece of shit because I’ve pushed myself 110% and I’m still a miserable loser” and not give him some respect for being so real, you’re a punk, plain and simple.

A rare moment of sincerity from me: If you don’t “get” Hatebreed, you’ve never been down and fucking out, at least not in the way that their songs are about. No bullshit, if you listen to the song “Perserverance” and it doesn’t give you chills, count your blessings and be grateful that you can’t identify with the lyrics. Ditto for Ill Bill “My Uncle.”
