EVEN ANTHRAX DON’T KNOW WHAT THE FUCK IS HAPPENING IN ANTHRAX

Just last week Vince called for John Bush and Anthrax to stop pussyfooting around and just announce that Bush is 100% back in the band already; now it seems clear that that announcement hasn’t come because absolutely no one in the Anthrax camp has any fucking clue what the fucking fuck is going on with their band.
Let’s look at some quotes from just the past three days, shall we?
“We are in the process of regrouping with John Bush. We played two shows with him, and we are looking forward to proceeding with this lineup.” – Charlie Benante, Noisecreep
“…it’s not confirmed or anything yet — it’s unofficial — but it looks like John Bush’s gonna do the vocals on [the new record].” – Rob Caggiano, Maximum Threshold (as transcribed by Blabbermouth)
“We did two shows and they were both awesome… And I’m committed to these five dates, which is the Soundwave festival in Australia in February, and I’m looking forward to that… And that’s as far as it’s gone. I’m taking really tiny steps with that, because that feels like the natural thing to do… And the band is sitting on record that they’re probably a little unsure what to do with, and we’ve discussed that, and we’re trying to figure that out too.” – John Bush, KNAC.com
I appreciate Caggiano saying it’s “unofficial” that Bush will be re-recording Dan Nelson’s vocals on Worship Music, but that doesn’t change my basic point:
EVERYONE IN ANTHRAX NEEDS TO SHUT UP UNTIL THEY ALL KNOW WHAT THE PARTY LINE IS.
Because when you have two dudes running around telling everyone “Bush is back!” and then you’ve got Bush going “I’m not sure!” then everyone looks, y’know, stupid.

I love Anthrax and all, but I could do without all the up-to-the-minute Anthrax news. Or I could just ignore these posts, but I feel whiny today.

John Bush IS recording the new Armored Saint record. Joey Vera is one of the most underrated musicians in metal. New Saint will rule!!!

john bush prolly just doesnt wanna be the “dick who spills the beans” when really, he jsut smoked too much pot, and hes paranoid that ppl are gonna get pissed at him or something.
