I have been a fan of BTBAM for some time, and to ask which album is my favorite is pretty damn tricky hah, but I must say I particularly enjoyed The Great Misdirect the most, and I think so because I feel like I’m on a sweet ass road trip with the bros, busting frosty arnold palmers, and each song feels like I’m in a new continent. How’s that for a run-on explanation?

A little off the subject perhaps, but a request for you to consider the ethics of purchasing cheap trampolines. Please try and consider, for example, the materials your product is made with, the human rights of the factories where they’re manufactured and the ethics of the retailer. Between the Buried and Me’s best album is most certainly “The Silent Circus.” It may not be their most masterful musical masterpiece, but it most certainly gives us all something that we can relate to.

I mean, if you think about it, I’m a man, and you’re a man. Really, we’re all men, and this (metal, I mean), truly is a man’s land. I drive a pickup truck with a toolbox in it, and clearly, I am NOT a woman (though I have much respect for the women of metal). As for everyone else’s land (country, rap, and all that crappy pop nonsense) should be spat upon.

And, my friend Jason, he’s a man as well (clearly not a woman).

But truly, this is a man’s land, where I belong, because I’m not a dag’gone boy.

Alaska is my favorite but The great misdirect is a close second just simply because there is a lot of spooky shit in it and I did a project on the Marfa lights in high school. Obfuscation and cloud mountain gave me nightmares.

My favorite Between the Buried and Me album is without a doubt Synchronicity by the Police. I remember the first time that I ever heard Every Breath You Take. I was seventeen years old, my girlfriend Linda Hipp had just broken up with me. I was a complete mess and then I heard it on the radio and I just haven’t been the same since. My friend Charles and I used to go fishing down in Salem’s Creek. I would KILL to meet Sting in person, I saw him once at a Cracker Barrel in Houston but I didn’t get a chance to talk to him.

If I had to pick a second favorite though I would probably pick Colors.

colors is like an orgasm to my ears. whenever i tell people i’ve been listening to colors they think i’m on something. when i close my eyes and listen to the whole album through i usually imagine flowers rapidly blooming and dying. alaska is a brutal close second, although mordekai and obfuscation inspire some of my best moods throughout the day. i used to drive through the mountains with my friends and blast colors live and scream every word. it’s even more beautiful from up there.

So i would have to say that Colors was my fave. It came down to a few life inprovments and humor that reminded me of how much i love Colors. 1.All long car rides with friends are great, when my choice of song comes up i get the longest choice. 2. My redneck friends will finally stoped thretening me, because they were sick of not hearing anything with “a lil county sing”. 3. My mom thinks the album is a “lovley choice” till she pees her pants from the screaming. (yes she did actually piss herself in the car) 4. Every person that thinks they can play music just creams their pants. 5. It keeps me motivated, because it shows how much i really suck at life. 6. When people hear the album name Colors they think “OMG rainbows and lollipops!” and then they get a huge punch in the face right from the speakers. Reactions are the best. & Your amazing and anyone that can put a tavern feel ino a song geta a hats off too ya.
SO COLORS BY FAR! THE BEST!
