Sorry about making it sound like a campaign ad, but I felt I had to both back up my points and make it easy to read. I wasn’t happy about how it sounded, but I think I was able to support my points.

I will never understand the absolute hatred this band receives – and by that I mean a hatred far in excess of other bands who arguably worse. And that’s a lot of bands because I like Creed. Though I acknowledge the reasons why that’s a shameful thing to admit. But it took me seven years before I could come out openly as a Creed fan to my family and friends. I’ve been through too much and lost too many to turn back now.

The self-satisfied shooting fish in a barrel comments I see here are far more risible than any Stapping in my life. Papa Stapp is a bit of a twat, has a messiah complex and can’t sing live – well roll out the firing squad. Jesus. Can’t you see those flaws are exactly why us Stappets worship the ego ramp he walks on?

I will add that I think Alter Bridge are an excellent band, significantly ‘better’ than Creed – and a fair few people that hate Creed like them… which is nice. Nice like a bear cub. The Creed reunion seems to have come about because AB haven’t really taken off at all in the US. I’m glad Alter Bridge will be continuing regardless because Myles Kennedy is an incredibly talented musician.

You are completely right. And it also applies to more than just this, because MS always has retarded shit like Youtube vocal covers and then having a full piece on some shitty hardcore band that probably NONE of us give a flying fuck about. It would be nice to see coverage of bands that are noteworthy within the metal scene, instead of having to skip all of this lazy bullshit like “HYUCK HYUCK CHECK OUT THIS HORRIBLE GROUP! AREN’T THEY REALLY BAD?!?!?! JEWJEWJEW ZOMG”

Write some real reviews and stop posting this garbage. No one fucking cares. YES, WE KNOW THAT SHITTY MUSIC EXISTS, STOP REMINDING US. THAT’S WHY WE COME HERE, TO CHECK OUT GOOD BANDS. It happens so much on this site that it almost comes off like MS is out of ideas.

I’ll just state this fact and let it speak for itself: MetalSucks.com posts Creed videos. …Now let that sink in for a few moments and ask yourself if we really need ANY of that shit on here. Its not entertaining, it blows, just like I could’ve told you it was gonna blow without ever hearing the music.
