THE DESTRO BASSIST MISSING?

As you may be aware, Vince and I are both big fans of The Destro. So this news, which I read on Metal Underground, is pretty upsetting:
Brad Kirkland, bass player from Metal Blade recording artists THE DESTRO, reportedly disappeared before the band’s show on Tuesday, October 27 at Fubar in St. Louis, MO. The band called the venue and cancelled the show minutes before they were due on stage.
This is the second time in a month that a prominent metal band has completely misplaced a member; but unlike that other group, the dudes in The Destro are not total idiots, and actually make good music. It would be great if it turned out that Kirkland was just enjoying a lost weekend, because while that make him irresponsible, at least he’d be safe, and the only consequence would be that he make a sincere apology to any fans who got screwed out of a Destro gig.

That bar is a shithole and the neighborhood it is in is one of the worst in the entire country for violence .People get murdered there daily..My guess would be he went looking for party favors and got clipped.I dont evenknow why bands would book that place they dont pay shit for shows.

I don’t really listen to the Destro, but I hope they can find their bassist. It sucks that he’s disappeared. Now I do listen to Five Finger Death Punch and whether you actually do play an instrument or not, you couldn’t even hold a pic to Zoltan or Jason Hook for that matter. Axl, compared to the guys of Five finger you’re nothing but what you come off as. A untalented, whiny, idiotic, blogger who can’t play the music they do almost every night.

Five Finger Death Punch is not my cup of tea, though I can tolerate about 50% of their efforts. To be completely accurate, their guitar players are ferocious. Both of them are top notch players. I feel the same way about Avenged Sevenfold, they have a great guitar player but the music just isn’t heavy enough for me.
Statements like “A person NOT playing an instrument could do better than Zoltan and Jason Hook” and “AX7 can’t play for shit” makes these threads so fucking retarded.
