One thing I do look for is record label (if any), I did come across Roadrunner once, and the find was a decent metalcore act, The Agony Scene. It wasn't anything spectacular, but it's just the fact that Roadrunner=metal. They're gonna lose that recognizable and credibility, in favor of more popular music.
