GOT SIX BUCKS AND AN EVENING TO COMPLETELY WASTE? GO SEE CREED

Every now and then, something happens to make me feel like there really is some justice in the world.
So while it looks Limp Bizkit are going right back to being the mega-stars they never deserved to be in the first place, at least Creed – possibly one of the most worthless musical acts, like, ever – aren’t doing so hot.
From a recent news report on the band’s recent concert in Birmingham, Alabama:
Tickets for Creed’s concert here on Friday are going for rock-bottom prices: 75 cents each, plus a Ticketmaster service charge.
A recent search for two tickets on the Ticketmaster site resulted in a $6 total charge: $0 for the tickets, 75 cents each as a convenience charge and an order processing fee of $4.50.
That’s a far cry from the price range, $35-$85, initially announced for the 7:30 p.m. show at the BJCC Arena.
Did anyone see it coming? Well, the performance, originally scheduled for Sept. 12, was postponed to Oct. 16. The lowest rung of tickets dropped to $15, then $10. It reached a new low today, according to an e-mail from promoter Red Mountain Entertainment.
The article goes on to say that the band sold-out the same venue ten years ago.
I don’t know what’s more pathetic: that the band quite literally can’t sell tickets, or that anyone would actually pay 600% more in TicketBastard service fees than the cost of admission (’Cause at this point, you gotta assume you could just, y’know, go to the box office the night of the gig.).
Between this and the fact that Scott Stapp can’t sing anymore (if he could ever sing), you gotta wonder about Creed’s future. I mean, I guess if Jani Lane can still have a career, Stapp should still be able to get someone to come see – but hopefully this means Creed’s days of playing large venues are over.
If anyone else hears any stories of Creed completely failing to sell concert tickets, please let us know. Remember that Stapp once beat his wife and smiled about it, so the fucker deserves whatever ills befall him.

Thanks to Porkspam for the tip!!!

I’d honestly rather Creed be huge again than Limp Bizkit ever existing in the first place. At least Scott Stapp doesn’t try to rap (yet…my guess is he is getting desperate)
This.
That.
and the third.
and you don’t stop.
Shooting fish in a barrel again – at least 3/4 of the band have Alter Bridge to fall back on.
yeah but alter bridge > creed…though thats not saying much…
Saying Alter Bridge is better than Creed is like saying Stalin’s human rights violations were less atrocious than Hitler’s.
Alter Bridge is fucking awesome and I was very disappointed to hear my favorite guitarist (Mark Tremonti) was selling out AGAIN and going back to this bulllshit band.
It makes you wonder why he came back. Obviously there isn’t a lot of money in it.
Atter Bridge is Pop nicely disguised as Nu-Hard-ROck (if that exists) Creed is just Pop badly disguised in Nu-grungy-Metal (how about that? that’s an advantage of not being a fluent English speaker, you just make up words XD)
Godwins Law, sir.
But it is saying much – I’m saying Alter Bridge are really good. Can’t you see that, Mary?
they just need to rope in uncle cracker for the tour to make it even more undesirable!!
Stapp is the biggest douchebag to walk the planet…. even Fred Durst thinks he is a punk
I don’t even know who these fuckers are…
You’re one of the lucky ones.
I can’t wait until they’re relegated to playing Indian gaming casinos.
ha huh i love how these bands that use to be huge now are playing to smaller audiences never liked these guys. metal prevails!!!!!
Imagine an ICP, Limp Bizkit, Creed tour.
I’m trying really hard not to…
That bill would create such a tremendous vortex of suck that it would cause the entire surrounding area to implode.
Dont forget the opener, Attack! Attack!
I already have my tickets. Juggalo pride!
Although for six bucks, assuming I wasn’t working, I might go see Creed, just to say I saw one of the worst bands of our generation play. EVEN THOUGH this asshole beat his wife, I still kind of feel bad for him. He seems so comically devoid of any talent that he can’t even understand why he’s washed up.
All this suck is hurting my head. It’s like Attack Attack!; a band so bad I can’t even hate, just pity.
600% of 0 is 0
This.
Creed had like the top album on iTunes. I agree theyre fucking awful, but they’re not DOING awful… Unfortunately.
Perhaps the ‘band’ might generate some interest if they were to re-release “Human Clay”, but with some ’slight’ alterations to the cover art and album title:

who knows – in some weird reality, it just might become a collector’s item.
In Toronto they’re playing a 300 seater club. I was wondering what that was all about.
Why is this website talking about Creed?
Yeah.
You want to hear some duka?

They came to Texas Tech a few weeks back and it got so bad they had to give them away for free and even then no one went
Yea i unfortunately know a few people who went to that show here in Lubbock, Tickets were like $4 or something ridiculous and only like 1200 out of a 15000 capacity arena were in attendance.
They would have to pay me a great deal of money to go see Creed. And even then, I would probably take my mp3 player with me and listen to that instead.
+1
and even worse… remember when that wife-beater sang in one game of the base ball play offs a few years ago ??……awful… just awful…
just for the record… I think Alter Bridge is far better than Creed ?’.. why ?… beause Myles is actually a good singer…
Alter Bridge and Creed are 2 very different bands in their own way. The music sounds the same but the vocalists are 2 different distinct voices. I’m not going to lie, I freakin’ LOVE Creed and seeing them live in Las Vegas a couple months back was quite the show! He may have beat his wife, he may have disappointed fans at one particular show, and he may have been quite the douchebag, but considering he got saved and now has been given many second chances, the big one being him getting his friendship with Mark Tremonti back together, which is how and why the album Full Circle came to life, because the whole album is simply going back to trials and tribulations and looking forward to the future, which is definitely a positive message. Seeing them live is much better than listening to their CD’s, but I’m not gonna lie, their performance they just finished on Conan with “Overcome” was amazingly HORRIBLE! Stapp can’t hit the highs and has that one guy do it for him and has many James Hetfield moments in his voice, which made me quite sad, but I still love Creed as a band! Now Alter Bridge is very good at what they do and their recent album Blackbird is one album you cannot deny! So complaining about the fact that Mark Tremonti is reverting back into “regression” and playing with Creed once again is like saying that Miles Kennedy joined the “new” Led Zeppelin, which apparently is true. Tremonti even said that he’s glad that Scott Stapp is back in his life now, and they forgot about their past. So why make stupid comments saying that because Creed is back, the world is gonna end earlier in 2012 and all that nonsense bullcrap? So to end my statement, Creed is a great hard rock band, but they’re not obviously a perfect rock band, as by seeing their live performances on TV just sucking horribly.
