^^^ agreed I thought that ep was great! I dig the electronic side of jesu. But I definitely enjoy the natural, heavy sound of opiate sun as well.

Truth is spoken here. Godflesh was a huge inspiration on a lot of people, and Jesu is a great continuation of what he started there (even if it’s more shoegazer than industrial).

I saw Jesu live and they were easily one of the most boring acts I have ever experienced. And yes, I typically enjoy super-slow, droning, doom, ect stuff, but I swear that maybe 10 out of 500 people in attendance were even mildly intrigued by the set.

Jesu is the only thing from Broadrick thats never really impressed me, I like some stuff but i just dont find it interesting at all.

Probably one of the most unsung heroes in the history of heavy music. For every time the Devin Townsend’s or Brett Hinds’ of the metal world are mentioned as geniuses, Broadrick should as well.
