I was really hoping for a date in Ohio. I fucking hate Kentucky….but I guess I’m driving there. Goddamn lawless state.

Looks like I have to drive to Houston.

  5. DecrystallizingReason says:

    • davemon21 says:

i will be there…..i am just extremely disappointed at the venue. but this tour is going to kill….and along with nile in what early january!!>!>>??? at the best metal venue in the twin cities, its shaping up to be an awesome 2010

  6. Mark says:

    Fuck you, America… fuck you…

  7. Patton says:

This is BULLSHIT ! Slayer’s european tour just got postponed half a year and now you’re getting shows in january and february ?!

  8. How about that — finally a Portland date for a good show!

  9. Hell yea!

    Balls to the Wind.

  10. SHOCKTROOP says:

goddamn fucking camden NJ. I hate that venue. but nothing could make me miss this tour .

  11. Double D says:

NO FLORIDA DATES!?!?!?! I think I just set the record for biggest boner to shriveled pea pod.

  12. Shep says:

$10? you lucky bastards, I paid £25 (about $40) for just slayer, presumably with some support yet to be announced but still…

and they’ve gone and postponed it for half a year :(

  13. Brian \m/(-_-)\m/ says:

wow, so nothing in NY. thanks a bunch…ah well i uess ill trek 2 camden or wallingford, wtvr

    • 10000 Gays says:

Izod Center is practically in NYC

      • Brian \m/(-_-)\m/ says:

yeah whatever, i guess i can go there. idk i sorta wanted the garden lol

        • stu1 says:

The Garden? What would they do with the 15,000 empty seats?

          • joshkid says:

The Izod has just about the same amount of seats as The Garden. But they’ll never come to the garden because it’s just too expensive to play there.
And I’ve heard that Slayer can’t play in MSG no more, because they were there a couple of years back and the place got literally TORN APART!

          • stu1 says:

Didn’t realize Izod was the new name of that arena. That place will be more than half empty, as well. But like you said, I’d imagine it’s much more expensive to do MSG than there, esp when you’re not filling it.

          • If you wanted to see Slayer and Megadeth at MSG you’re sorta late–Slayer were banned for life from the venue in 1991 after the Clash of the Titans tour. I was there, and a friend of mine who works Garden security told me that his boss told him that “this band will never play here again.”

So it’s the Meadowlands, in February. Best time to visit, really!

          • stu1 says:

Also read it wasn’t MSG; it was the attached theatre ( the Felt maybe?) that was trashed.

  14. Hmmm Feb 14 in Lowell MA…if my girlfriend makes me choose between her and Slayer that day, it’s totally gonna be Slayer.

  15. Discipleofthewatch says:

Slayer on Valentine’s day for you, eh? How romantic. Valentine Painted Blood.

I’ll be there in Long Beach! January 22nd. I’ve seen Megadeth there before, but not with Testament and Slayer!

  16. Mark Gavin says:

What do the asterisks represent? $10 tickets or what?

  17. Bobby Tims says:

FUCKKKKKKKKKKKK looks like im driving to CT?

  18. bryan says:

This is the biggest bullshit tour date list i`ve ever seen. there skipping what, almost half the country?

  19. Duluth, GA, Closer to me than the ATL. But still HOLY SHIT! 3 of my fav thrash bands. Will be one hell of a show.

  20. Anthony says:

Wait, so are those rescheduled Canadian dates also including Testament and High on Fire, or are they going to have Machine Head and Suicide Silence (since they were supposed to be opening for them originally on those dates).

I’d like to know, since I’d rather pay for Machine Head and Megadeth than just Megadeth

  21. steven says:

    NO EURO DATES MOTHERFUCKERS!!!

  22. Wayn says:

HELL YEAH!!! Jan 25th at Magness Arena in Denver!!!

I saw the “Clash of the Titans” tour back in the early 90s with AIC, Anthrax, Megadeth, and Slayer – I never thought that Megadeth and Slayer would tour together again – and with TESTAMENT!!!

This is going to be one hell of a show!!!

  23. Harold says:

Im glad I live in the Bay Area! But two months???

After three then they might start fighting.

  24. Fuck yes finally something good comes to louisville!

  25. rob says:

no mention of high on fire?? maybe they are trying to get anthrax….
or itll be just the 3 with super long sets.

  26. rob says:

and to candians, machine head isnt on this. they are overseas. idk about suicide silence.

  27. Facebook User says:

They’re hitting a few Canadian sites too. Feb 19th, Toronto, booyah <3

  28. Alex_P says:

Fucking right! Testament instead of Suicide Silence! Now I really need to go.

  29. myke says:

as much as i hate mustaine i wanna see slayer and testament!! funny thing about testament and slayer both drummer were in testament or slayer. i wonder if kerry is gonna bitch about paul bostaoph

  30. justin says:

no dc or baltimore date either. i’m not driving to camden to see this.

  31. This tour is not playing in my city, and I really do not care

  32. joshkid says:

oh my god. this is epic. a review of a slayer show from 1988 in the ny times. I was 3 fuckin weeks old!!!
    http://www.nytimes.com/1988/09/03/arts/review-rock-for-slayer-the-mania-is-the-message.html

  33. jagbag says:

Sweet, Slayer is playing at my school!

  34. Max Waldt says:

Fuck I have to do a road trip for this, how do they not even stop in New York State

  35. Coop says:

Oh, fucking fuck yes! An El Paso date! Most metal bands never come here.

  36. BrutalJay says:

Yet another tour to pass SC. Oh well, maybe I can hit up the Georgia date.

  37. BlakMetallistKrieg says:

I’d have to drive all the way to long beach from San Diego, but I’ve missed slayer in San Diego before by my own fault so I cant complain.

  38. Master Chah says:

Do I really have to take the train to connecticut? FUUUUUUCCCCKKKKKKK!

  39. Benjamin says:

Hey what happened to Florida. Surely they jest. They’re going to make us drive all the way to Georgia to see Testament? Well god motherfucking dammit. My car ain’t that great on highway miles.

    Fuck Motherfuck.

  40. FarBeyondJuban says:

Living in Central NJ is AMAZING for concerts. Having NYC an hour to the north and Philly an hour and a half to the south is sweet. And for this amazing tour, I don’t even have to leave the state (but it’s basically the same distance to Camden/Meadowlands as it is Philly/NYC from Somerville). I could never live in Montana or Idaho or some shit.

  41. I says:

SON OF A BITCH!!!!!! I’m not gonna drive 8 hours to Nashville. Man that really sucks. A Pittsburgh or Ohio date would have been very very nice. Oh well, maybe we’ll get lucky and they’ll add dates or do a second tour next year. Here’s to hoping.

  42. THRASHETTE says:

Yikes, no where in Maryland… not even Virginia or Pennsylvania… shame, Mustaine. Shame.

  43. Mitchell says:

I find this schedule to be weird too. Bigtime US centers not being visited. Oh well, I’ll be there at Air Canada Centre for the re-schedule!

  44. Adam says:

Glad the rescheduled Toronto date is still on a Friday, sad that Machine Head are off the bill.

  45. hector says:

Everyone stop whining and bitching about where they are or are not playing. They can not play everywhere.

  46. chumbawumba says:

anybody want to be so kind as to post the presale password?

  47. faithlessx says:

so what’s up with these “10 dollar tickets”. Ticketmaster says the presale tickets are $40…are they waiting until the internet presale (tomorrow 10 AM) or the general public sale (friday 10 AM) for the discount?
