SALOME AND THE LIVE FOOTAGE OF DOOM

Salome, who are both a) one of our favorite doom bands and b) one of our favorite live bands, played the Relapse showcase at CMJ last month, and, as is so often the case, our brostafas at Metal Injection where there to capture some awesome live footage. Check it out:

    i dont understand why this band gets so much attention when bands that do it better like fistula get alot less.

    they’re alright….fistula jams too….i love fontana’s tho, my band(vaste burai) played there on tour this last summer with hull…they fucking slay!

    I like “Doom”, but I’ve just realized the big selling feature is that it is, for the most part, practically talentless. Muddy guitar tone, overdistorted vocals to mask an inconsistent delivery/lack of an actual voice, overcranked bass, repetitive drums, and lots of feedback. All unequalized. They’re greeeeeeaat.
