ABSOLUTELY REVOLTING

Reader Chris Peace sent us the below and declared Sweden’s Revolting to be “some of the best oldschool death metal I have ever heard in my life.” Personally, I think it’s good, but I don’t know if I’d bestow it with such high praise.

    Revolting and pretty much everything Razorback Records has released are definitely worth checking out – I wholeheartedly recommend it. 2008 was a great year for the label. I especially recommend Decrepitaph – http://www.myspace.com/decrepitaph – old school death metal at its finest.

    They’re awesome to order from as well. One time I ordered a batch of CDs and a shirt from them, then I get a message from Jill Razorback saying the T-shirt and one of the CDs was sold out, so they refunded me for the shirt and give us a discount code for $5. Win.

    Reminds me Immolation, Entombed, and Dismember, Death Breath and the million other old school bands that seem to be around these days. Pretty awesome, and yet Sweedish. Check out Nirvana 2002 waaaaay better.
