Your a tard bro. Their all around like 26. Fucking sweet dudes! I have been to probably like 20 shows. Good friends with the band. If you have ever been to a baptized show, you never leave dissappointed. One of the few bands that actually take the time to thank all the fans and meet and greet. Dont talk about shit you know nothing about.

Like their tunes or not you can’t deny that they’ve busted their plums to get to where they are. Definitely done the London, Ontario metal scene proud.

I was at the show where they announced being signed to roadrunner, and their performance was great. I had heard of the band, as well as many other “smaller” unsigned bands, and could tell right away that these guys had something different, so I’m not the least bit surprised. Baptized in Blood gives a great studio as well as live performance, soo, way to go guys, keep repping London :)

did you seriously put crystal castles in your list of bands from ontario who aren’t douches? because they are the epitome of douche. they are douche extreme. they have douche distilled to a fine essence. i don’t really care that their drummer played with tool in toronto. tool are douches too. the only good thing i can say about them at this time are that the kids are like, soooooo over them.

yes, it is true that dfa broke up (rip), but left in their wake are the even douchier mstrkrft. dfa is a special case though. they had douche, but they knew how to use it.

holy fuck might not be douches themselves, but they attract that crowd. they are – in the common vernacular – “douche magnets”.

quest for fire are alright, but i would like to point out that they are the benefactors of having one of the former members of cursed.

but i mean, if you’re gonna start talking about people associated with the toronto scene, the douche far outweighs the…not-douche. the broken social scene alone is like, a family tree of douche, having ties to metric, feist, stars, and about a million other douche bands. it wouldn’t really bother me so much, except for the fact that it’s the douchiest of the douche who get all the press & critical acclaim. like aids wolf.

has anyone hating on ‘metal’ ever considered the fact that the genre has evolved, progressed and developed since its beginning. just as we have as human beings. metal has come a long way, and continues to venture into new avenues of sounds and inspirations. no, its not the same as it once was, but thats the beauty of it. thats the beauty of creativity and what’s left of originality. hearing something a little different than what weve heard before…we shouldnt want to hear the same shit over and over again, just to label it as one genre of music..just because every metal album doesnt sound like slayer,( or whatever ‘metal’ band you dumb fucks actually consider to be metal) doesnt mean it has to be shunned and considered garbage…are you people deaf? it’s 2000 and fuckin’ 9, live in the now. things change, for the better. it’s the closed-minded idiots who listen to two seconds of a song and are convinced that it sucks that make music shitty. baptized is fuckin amazing and beyond talented and with signing to road runner they have proved they have what it takes. metal for life. get shitty fuckers!

Musicianship? Dude.. have you even heard or seen this band?? Listen to tracks like Down and Out, Blue Oyster, or Next Stop Hollywood and tell me that they dont showcase musicianship?? these guys are fucking phenominal. And if by friends, you mean dedicated fans.. ive never met these dudes in my life, but i’ve seen them 6 times and everytime is mind blowing.

they are doing what they do for themselves, and not for everyone else, especially not for the ‘scene kids’ who dont even pay attention to them. every song is different and has some extra flavour to it

what i love the most about them is that the bring metal to the table, but add song structure, melody, and hooks.. making for good songs. but then again, i listen to everything and not JUST metal..
