Then Submethod, and now Human Abstract. He's always been artistic and creative, if not a bit of a pretention asshole. But hey, lots of artists have fucked up heads. In lots of ways. Curse of the gift, really. I haven't not liked anything he's ever done, to some extent or another, although Submethod is probably mt favorite thing he has done, especially Essay on the Human Condition. Good album. I knew Nate and he was a really good guy. We used to talk a lot, especially during that time, and it was clear that he was not on acid. Yeah, he smoked pot, but that's about it (unless he was traveling or something and participating in sweet rituals). He was really confused and annoyed when they first decided that he was kicked out of the band. He has better things to do anyways, like traveling and working on his solo stuff, which is pretty sweet. After I heard a bit from their second album I just couldn't do it. It had the feel of Nathan taking over. The vocal tracks were far too loud and often overpowered the guitars and bass in my opinion.
