Obviously you would think this band sucks coming from a website called “Metalsucks”. Thats a retarded idea for a website, so while you are here, sitting on your fat ass, criticizing bands, on your computer. These guys are actually doing something. And if they are “SO BAD”, why are they opening for big bands such as Every Time I Die? and Winds of Plague? …. Because theyre good, and if you say Every Time I die, and winds of plague suck, you hate metal, but both those bands have a huge following and are extremely successful (unlike you) . on top of that. You say they are generic, even if they are, they still have a growing fanbase, and they obviously arent that bad, if people like them. Lol, and I do not like TDWP, but why are you all bitching and whining about their band name? Honestly, who the fuck cares? Thats such a stupid thing to argue over, theyre succesful, so they dont care if people dont like the name. And to post a blog talking shit about a band? Honestly, grow up. By the way you have small balls, congrats.

Seriously. TDWP may claim that their name has nothing to do with the book/movie, and perhaps it doesn’t. However, if you think you invented this REALLY COOL, ORIGINAL BAND NAME for your hardcore project, and then you find out that your band name is the SAME as a MULTI-MILLION selling book AND movie about women and the fashion industry, YOU CHANGE YOUR STUPID NAME SO YOU CAN ACTUALLY BE TAKEN SERIOUSLY. It’s really that simple. Even if they claim ignorance, im sure someone (meaning everyone they have ever met) probably told them, “Hey, you know your band is named after a really lame book/movie?” Even if the band was so totally enthralled with naming their band after this “concept” (since they claim it has nothing to do with the book/movie), you can change the wording to convey the same message but not mirror the title of this universally famous book/movie. It’s like naming your band “The Outsiders,” because you claim that the band members never feel like they belong to anything; not because there is a world famous book (made into a movie) with the same title…give me a break. FIND A NEW, ORIGINAL goddamn name. It sucks when you think you created something original and find out that somebody got there first, but those are the breaks…put a little more effort in.

sorry to rant, but I always wanted to punch the guys in The Devil Wears Prada in the face for moving forward with a band name so stupid..how could ANYONE that they are associated with (friends, family, management..) let that happen, knowing the embarassment it could lead to? jeez
