HEAR THE BINARY CODE’S “MECHANICAL SEAS” EXCLUSIVELY AT LAMBGOAT!

Tuesday, December 1st, 2009 at 2:00pm by Vince Neilstein

The Binary CodeTurns out we’re not the only ones excited about The Binary Code’s pending release of Suspension of Disbelief; the first-post/van-flippers over at Lambgoat are exclusively streaming the brand new track “Mechanical Seas” right now!

Having heard all of Suspension of Disbelief (since MetalSucks is releasing the album digitally — duh!) I’m having a hard time finding the words to express how fucking awesome the record sounds (courtesy of a killer mixing job by Knife the Glitter’s Kevin Antreassian). “Mechanical Seas” is definitely one of my favorite tracks from the record, but it’s just the tip of the iceberg compared to the rest of the mind-bending progressive death metal contained therein.

So go on and stream “Mechanical Seas” at Lambgoat. Suspension of Disbelief drops on December 15th for the whopping price of only $5 for a high-quality 320kbps MP3 digital download, or $15 with one of four sick t-shirt designs (and free shipping in the U.S.!). You can pre-order the record at The Binary Code’s webstore right now.

For a sample of what the rest of Suspension of Disbelief has in store, check out the medley containing clips from every song on the album posted on The Binary Code’s MySpace.

Lambgoat exclusive eh? But you’re digitally releasing it? I guess it gets more exposure, but moving traffic from your site to theirs sounds like a bad idea, unless you’re getting a cut, then I guess it would be ok?

Also, this band is boring as fuck. Guitars do not even sound like guitars, this sound replacement bullshit has got to stop!

    • stu1 says:

I’m guessing it’s due to the fact lambgoat probably gets a lot of traffic that doesn’t come here. You know, the whole ‘exposure to different people” thing?

  2. John says:

I’m honestly curious what the hype is about this band? I mean, it seems like something I should enjoy but its just not that interesting at all.

  3. Connor says:

this band in no way deserves the hype that this website is giving it. This is garbage.

  4. gibberish says:

eh, it’s alright. I might buy this.

  5. Burton C. Bell's Forehead says:

I was thinking of getting this the way they have been praised on this site, but i doubt I will now. The track doesn’t sound bad, but it doesn’t sound that brilliant either.

  6. The Jersey Shore – a “metal” setting for a promo pic?

    • msv81 says:

Haha I was thinking the same thing. For as dirty as the shore is, though, I guess it’s kinda metal when you’re swimming with jellyfish, dead body parts, and used heroin needles.

  7. jason says:

    Meh-canical Seas…

  8. I'm not racist, but I hate Oceano says:

It would have been nice if they released a song that wasn’t on the demo

  9. Zach Dolan says:

Shitty song from a shitty band.

  10. big_metal_al says:

    Good band and will buy.

  11. Tonberry says:

I’m going to go out on a limb and assume that someone in this band is a friend of yours and you’re doing them a favor.

  12. Ziltoid says:

    Progressive death metal?

Haha, this stuff isn’t in any way, shape, or form related to prog death. Nor is it any good.

  13. mutemeth says:

I don’t understand all the hype around this band. I bought (yes bought, with actual money) the demo and got bored of it before the second time through. I’m sure someone else gave it even less time than that.
Why don’t you guys hype up the reader submissions this much? Some of them are way better than this.

  14. Nancy Botwin says:

This track is a good example as to how bands misuse drum triggers.

  15. Great says:

Here we go again. Does anyone hear the transitions in this bullshit? Worst shit i’ve heard in years but it’s getting praise up it’s ass. Hooray, technicality for the sake of being technical.

  16. Strapping Young Lad says:

Binary Code kicks ass. very excited about you guys getting the exclusive release! hopefully, it’s really successful. More people Gotta hear about this band! ZIltoid, mehh, i got nuttin. love life, dude.
