THE WORLD’S PREMIERE ATTACK ATTACK! TRIBUTE BAND: ATTACK ATTACK ATTACK!

Okay, so reader Ryan Banjamin sent this video in last night, and, wow, did it just about make my week. I have absolutely no clue why these kids made this video, but I’d be shocked if you told me that they were actual Attack Attack! fans. As a piece of satire, the video is a little-one noted… but what a note it is! I was sold by the time the “band” perfectly imitated AA!’s synchronized jump at the 1:35 mark.

One thing I would definitely have changed, though, had this been an Axl Rosenberg joint: I would have made the chick playing the keyboardist fill the role of the lead singer. ‘Cause let’s be real here, y’know?

      Am I the only person here that thinks V-neck shirts are for douchebags? I know my father had a thing for Hanes V-neck white shirts and he was a total douchebag even though I loved the big guy….

        They have a Myspace profile featuring other “covers” and Attack Attack! are on their top friends, as well as a number of other shitty new bands with bad hair cuts and unacceptable attire. And they consider themselves a real “band”. Fuck them all. They are serious.

      I was in Hot Topic the other day heckling a local “acoustic emo” band that was playing, and I noticed AA! Have embraced the term “crabcore.” They put a fucking crab with the word “core” under it on their shirts. God help us all, they LIKE our insulting terms.

    Man you guys completely missed the point. It’s a parody, and its a parody of one of the most hilarious music videos I’ve ever seen. Everything from the guitar flip, to the little keyboard segment where it says CRAB FUCKING CORE on the laptop. Anyone who wants to make fun of or mimic this video is fine with me, it is timeless.

    This seems like one of those things where they were at a party and said “Wouldn’t it be funny if…”, but where most people don’t follow through, they did, and wound up stretching a one note joke out to 4 minutes.

    This is pretty funny. Being a resident metalhead of southwest Ohio, these guys have been part of the local scene for a few years. What is funny is that all the local bands do the crab movements now when they perform. Yet, Attack Attack! has completely stopped doing them.

    I am impressed, however, that they didn’t get booted from parking garage…unless they did after the 2:48 mark, because that’s as far as I could go and keep lunch down.
