Let us not forget that QT directed an episode of E.R. as well. Regardles of your opinions about Zombie’s directoral choices…they work. What, they don’t follow the outdated 80′s slasher asthetic you remember (late 70′s if you’re keeping track…which I’m sure you elitist snobs are)? Good. Those paths are tired.

I’ve liked several of Zombie’s films, El Superbeasto was not one of them. I have never been into sexualized (or in this case, OVER-sexualized) cartoons. There’s just something creepy about watching cartoons do “it”.

you people are fucking retarted. Rob Zombie is a brilliant writer and a pretty damn good director. Quentin Tarantino is also amazingly brilliant (I don’t understand how anyone could think otherwise). Superbeasto was fucking hilarious. Everyone who gets there panties in a bunch simply because Zombie remade halloween needs to shut the fuck up. He did a damn good job. I love how his version is intensely stylized. The only writer/director who owns both of them is Terry Gilliam. Imaginarium of Doctor Parnassus is THE greatest movie ever made. isn’t this a music site though? who really cares about your opinions on film?
