MAYHEM CANCEL TOUR WITH LUDICRA, KRALLICE AND TOMBS
Friday, February 5th, 2010 at 12:00pm by MetalSucks
An anonymous industry insider close to the Mayhem camp has contacted MetalSucks with the news that the Norwegian black metallers have canceled their tour with Ludicra, Krallice and Tombs. Says the MetalSucks tipster, “I can 100% guarantee that this is true.”
The tour was scheduled to start in New York City on April 7th and wrap up in Los Angeles on April 25th (dates here).
This following last year’s doomed-before-it-even started Blackenedfest Tour. That tour’s original bill featured Mayhem, Marduk, Cephalic Carnage, Cattle Decapitation and Withered. Marduk didn’t make it to the U.S. due to visa issues, and the other three bands dropped off after an all-night argument in Denver. Mayhem finished up the tour alone.
We’ll post more news as this story develops…

The US just can’t get a decent black metal tour going, it seems.
No Texas, No Care
This is probably the result of Mayhem being the Black Metal divas they are.
This band just cant seem to keep their shit together. Unfortunate.
Too good to be true. I hope the other three bands soldier on…without Mayhem, it’s still a godly lineup of USBM bands.
FUUUUCKK. They were great last year. Attila is the best vocalist in extreme metal history……Well, at least i won’t have to be around a bunch of bearded Mastodon fans.
Huh?
god your a fucking crybaby
fuck i hope these dudes still go on without mayhem. ludicra needs to make an appearance in vancouver. fuck my life.
100% confirmed.

Damn. Even my wife called this one. Shitty.
dammit!
Yeah, boo. This show was next on my calendar after Immortal in March.
Maybe now I can see Krallice without paying 40 bucks
Seriously?
What the fuck Mayhem.
This was going to be a fantastic show.
Mayhem, c’mon…it’s like when rock bands from the seventies play the crappy local festival or state fair and have the gall to play under their original name when the only original member left is the bass player. Should anyone really give two honks about Mayhem aside from their landmark album and the surrounding mystique?
Really dude? I mean, yeah, its not the same mayhem but grand declaration of war was enjoyable enough, paired with old material and their theatrics it woulda beena decent show,
It’s funny because I guessed this would happen
And it did
BULLSHIT
Meh, they weren’t coming anywhere near me anyway.
haha at least they were making a good decision by bringing 3 bands that don’t really need to get paid every night…
welp
Maybe I can work out a deal with John Cobbett whereby I might live on his couch and attend rehearsals of both Ludicra and Hammers in return for lugging all their gear and cooking for him. That’s probably the only way I’ll get to see his bands now.
Well this sucks.
color me surprised.
