THERE IS ONLY ONE “ANTI-HERO,” AND IT AIN’T BY BLEEDING THROUGH

There’s a really awesome metal song called “Anti-Hero.” A song that makes me wanna jump in the pit and hit someone smaller than me every time I listen to it. A song that helped make the band who recorded it one of my favorite in modern metal.

Oh, yeah. Bleeding Through’s new song is also called “Anti-Hero.” The lyrics include the line “I’ve heard enough of you!/Fucking go away,” which pretty much sums up my feelings about the track. But if you really care, you can listen here. The song will be on the band’s new, self-titled album, which comes out April 13 on Rise.

    My main goal in the viewing of this article was the picture. Subsequently, I was pleased after the “jump” once I was able to view the picture and ignore the article, which, however much I skimmed it, failed to tickle my fancy.

    I totally like this new “show a picture of Marta every time Bleeding Through is mentioned” idea. It totally makes me CARE about BT.

    And I like GF’s “Anti-Hero” as well, and that’s the first thing I saw of when I saw BT’s new single myself.

    I’ve heard people talk about/badmouth Bleeding Through for quite a while, but I had never actually listened to them. After listening to the new song, I can honestly say that I’ll be joining the badmouthing camp. Generic metalcore crap + keyboards makes me a little more sad than generic metalcore crap on its own.

    Marta’s pretty hot, though.

    Bleeding Through’s lyrics have always sucked. Even when I used to be into em there would be songs where I would laugh out loud at the stupid lyrics they came up with.

    God Forbids Anti-Hero was very influential on my taste in music when I was in HS just getting into the more underground side of metal. I am proud to say that even back then I knew Bleeding Through was garbage. come to thin k of it i used to listen to this one song by them with the boondock saints intro… At least i think was them

    she left after portrait of the goddess which, incidently, is a fucking awesome record, better than anything GF have ever released (incl determination) and still stands up as a great record 8 years later

    I shouldn’t even like the band bleeding through, it’s so pessimistic, hating, but powerful lyrics… kind of how I felt after a bad break up but I moved on. I don’t know what it is that brings me back to these guys, they’re one of my favorites. I’m not straight edge or emo, I’ll listen to all kinds of metal except shit like bullet for my valentine, or gay ass power metal(kamelot, dragonforce… fucking spooners). I liked BT’s anti-hero, I was into god forbid before I heard of these guys, they were my mom’s favorite band, but after the new album, it seemed they lost their potential. I saw god forbid, they put on a hell of a show, with bodom, lamb of god, and as i lay dying… but seeing the audience, there were pits, there was hella cheering but no one could even sing their fucking lyrics. They don’t stick out like they should. BT’s got some fucked up fans, they go fucking crazy, a lot of dickheads you just want to beat the shit out of, and there’s also fans that would kill for them. I don’t get along with them, because they try to sit there and explain their life is the same way as their lyrics. Now that BT switched to rise records, I’m very intrigued so see what they have to offer now. I’m looking forward to seeing them on the 23rd!
